The Diversity Center

We are dedicated to advancing the causes and priorities of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, intersex and questioning (LGBTIQ) individuals and their allies in Santa Cruz County.

We provide safe space for visitors. Everyone who enters is welcome, treated with respect, and assisted in the best way possible by one of our dedicated volunteer hosts.

By having a place, The Diversity Center provides services to our community members in the best way possible. If you are new in town, coming out, questioning, or out and about and proud, The Diversity Center touches the lives of everyone in our community in some way - now more than ever.

Walk in Center

We invite you to relax in our comfortable walk-in center or get a breath of fresh air in our garden area. Hold special meetings. Meet friends or talk with our host.

Resource Directory

We have just successfully completed our 34th annual Santa Cruz Pride Parade and Festival, and we now turn our attention to publishing the 2008/2009 Resource Directory. Your participation in this directory provides an invaluable service to our community and supports the success of your business or organization at the same time. We hope you will participate this year and take a few minutes to fill out and return the application, click here to download.

Lending Library

Read the latest LGBT magazine, newspaper, or check out a video, a dvd, or a book from our library of over 2000 titles.

Information

We field calls and visits from people looking for a job, housing, health information, and service referrals, and have many brochures from other LGBT organizations. Call us or stop by. A Cyber Center

Free high-speed access from our workstation or using your portable device through our wireless service is available. Our internet connection is sponsored by Cruzio.
